You don’t watch it. You stand where they stood.

Sense/Net makes first-person recordings. Fullfield captures a performance from the performer’s own position (picture at eye level, sound at the ear, motion, touch and breath) and plays it back to you the way it happened to them.

The Sense/Net Library

Six hundred and fifty-two feet under Kansas

Since 1994 the company’s masters have been kept in galleries cut into a bed of rock salt beneath Ashworth, Kansas, where the temperature has not moved from 68 degrees in living memory. The Library holds every recording Sense/Net has made, the catalogues it has bought, and a reading room above ground that any researcher can book.

Copies of retired products and out-of-commerce titles are deposited with Lazarus, the digital preservation programme, so that they can still be opened when the machines that played them are gone.

9 open roles in Los Angeles, Sun Valley and Ashworth, Kansas.
