This website
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Every page works without JavaScript, by keyboard and with a screen reader, at any width from a phone upward, and respects a request for reduced motion. Charts give their figures in text, and drawings have descriptions.
We test every page with automated checks at desktop and phone widths before it is published, and by hand when we change a template.
Fullfield titles
- Captions for every title with speech, and a described-sound track for titles where sound carries the story.
- Described editions for viewers who are blind or have low vision, in which a narrator describes what the performer sees, recorded with the performer’s consent.
- Seated playback, which removes the motion track for viewers who need it.
- Garment intensity, adjustable from off to full.
Known problems
Some Fullfield Archive titles restored from tape have captions only in English. The data tables in our older transparency report are wide and scroll sideways on small screens.
