LOS ANGELES, April 21, 2026 — Every Fullfield title can now be switched, in one step, from its adaptive edition to its original cut, the single edition that every viewer of the title sees. Sense/Net said today that the switch is in the Sense/Net Player on every certified headset from this week.
In an adaptive edition, Fullfield Ambient generates the passers-by, traffic and weather around the performer afresh for each viewer, so that no two viewers see quite the same street. The performer’s own recording is never changed. Adaptive editions remain the default, and accounted for 71.2% of Fullfield plays in the last quarter.
The company said it made the change after a policy brief published in March by Frothly, the research institute, recommended that personalized media offer a one-step switch to a common, non-personalized view. “Two people who have watched the same title ought to be able to argue about the same street,” said Delia Sorensen, chief executive.
About Sense/Net
Sense/Net makes first-person recordings. Founded in Los Angeles in 1988 by Maureen Vance and Gordon Pruitt, it records performances from the performer’s own position for Fullfield, its line of first-person titles, and keeps the Sense/Net Library, one of the largest collections of recorded performance in the world, in a former salt mine under Ashworth, Kansas. Sense/Net Holdings, Inc. is privately held.
